Worcester Bosch Greenstar runs slightly quieter and has a denser dealer network for parts; Vaillant ecoTEC tends to be marginally more efficient and has a longer manufacturer warranty on the heat exchanger. Every BASI install comes with the first-year service free, a written commissioning sheet for your manufacturer warranty, and the warranty registered for you (Worcester Bosch up to 10 years, Vaillant up to 10 years with the ecoTEC range). We do the annual service ourselves so the warranty stays valid year-on-year, and most customers move onto a Smart Care cover plan after the first service so the breakdown cover sits alongside it.

How much does a new boiler cost in Yorkshire?
Our boiler installations start at £1,895 fully fitted. The final price depends on boiler size, location of the existing flue and pipework, and whether you're switching boiler type (e.g. system to combi). We quote a fixed price after a 20-minute home survey, what we quote is what you pay.
How long does it take to install a new boiler?
Most like-for-like swaps are done in a single day. A boiler-type change (e.g. converting from a system boiler to a combi) typically takes two days because we need to drain the old cylinder, re-route the hot water feed, and reinstate the airing cupboard.
Do you offer finance on new boilers?
Yes. We offer finance from £32/month subject to status, with 0% APR options on selected models. Apply online with a soft credit check that doesn't affect your score; the decision is usually instant.
What warranty do you provide?
Up to 10 years on Worcester Bosch Greenstar models and up to 10 years on Vaillant ecoTEC models, as long as the boiler is registered and serviced annually. We're accredited installers for both manufacturers, which is what unlocks the extended warranty.
Are your engineers Gas Safe registered?
Every BASI engineer is Gas Safe registered and a full-time uniformed employee, never a sub-contractor. Our Gas Safe registration number is 623525. You can check it at gassaferegister.co.uk.
