Boiler repair, same-day where we can

Most days, yes, especially if you call before 11am. We hold same-day slots back specifically for breakdowns. If we genuinely can't get to you today, we'll tell you straight; we won't waste your morning.

£80 for the first hour's labour plus parts at trade price. Most repairs are done within the first hour. We quote any parts cost before we order them, you decide whether to proceed.

We don't charge a separate call-out fee. You pay £80 for the first hour on site, which includes the diagnosis, and that covers most repairs. Parts, if needed, are quoted at trade price before we order them. No call-out fee on top, no minimum charge games.

Usually, yes. If your boiler is under about 10 years old and the repair is under roughly £600, a fix is almost always the sensible choice. On older boilers, or when the repair bill approaches the cost of a new unit, replacement is the better value. We quote both numbers (repair and replace) at the same survey so you can compare like-for-like, and we never push a new boiler when a repair will do.

Low pressure and a frozen condensate pipe are the two we see most, and both are often quick fixes. After those, the usual culprits are a faulty diverter valve, a failed pump, a stuck three-way valve, a worn expansion vessel or a sensor fault throwing an error code. We carry the common parts on the van, so most jobs are fixed first time.

If we can't fix it on the first visit (because we need a part we don't carry on the van) we deduct 50% of the fee paid for the first visit off the price of the return visit.

We'll tell you. Roughly: if the repair quote is north of £600 on a boiler over 10 years old, we'd typically recommend replacement. We can give you a same-day fixed quote for a new install and apply any diagnosis fee against the new boiler price.
